Our Advisory Approach

image

Praxis applies a systematic, iterative approach to advisory engagements, progressing from design and vision setting to coordinated action, followed by learning and adaptation.

Praxis operates through a praxis-based approach — integrating strategic reflection with grounded implementation.

We work selectively with organizations committed to accountability, realistic planning, and donor compliance. Our focus is on clarity, execution discipline, and systems that withstand institutional scrutiny.

We do not guarantee funding outcomes. We strengthen readiness, credibility, and delivery capacity.

Pricing & Engagement Scope

Praxis Development Advisory operates on a selective, engagement-based model aligned with donor and institutional consulting standards.

Indicative pricing:

  • Fixed-scope advisory engagements typically range from USD 5,000 – 20,000, depending on scope, donor requirements, and timelines
  • Day-rate consulting is available for institutional and donor-funded programs and is scoped in line with international development consulting norms
  • Retainer-based advisory support begins at USD 3,500 per month, with a minimum engagement period

All engagements are scoped following an initial review of organizational readiness and project requirements. Pricing reflects the level of strategic input, donor compliance considerations, and execution responsibility involved.

Engagement Fit

Praxis Development Advisory engages selectively with organizations that value rigor, institutional alignment, and realistic execution within donor-funded and policy-constrained environments.

Praxis is best suited for partners that:

  • Operate within or alongside institutional donor systems (bilateral, multilateral, foundation, or CSR-funded)
  • Require structured advisory support rather than outsourced implementation
  • Are prepared to engage with defined scopes, timelines, and deliverables
  • Value clarity, documentation, and compliance over speed or volume
  • Maintain internal ownership of programs while seeking external strategic guidance

Praxis is not positioned for:

  • General consulting or ad hoc support without clear objectives
  • Turnkey proposal writing disconnected from organizational readiness
  • Short-term engagements focused solely on funding acquisition without execution planning
  • Organizations seeking implementation contractors or guaranteed funding outcomes

Engagements are designed to support organizations committed to accountable delivery, institutional credibility, and long-term positioning within donor and policy ecosystems.
